Netflix who is creating and buying up everything now bought this show from BBC. I am a huge fan of Roman Empire shows and movies. This 10 episode series had promise, but seems to fall flat.
The best Roman series to me was STARZ Spartacus and close behind is HBO Rome which I heard was coming back. Troy is watered down remake of the 10 year siege of Troy. What I did like was the diversity in the casting and the last episode except the final 10 minutes which was a let down of the entire first season of this series. I dont think it will be back.
I was let down by the direction and script. The movie version was alot better. There where moments, and I mean only moments that were ok, but nothing over the omg factor. If you are a fan of How To Get Away With Murder you’ll be glad to know Wes is alive and is on the series. All in all I give this series 🍿🍿🍿/🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
